How To Fix A Broken Nail?

How to fix a broken nail

No one, and we mean no one likes to break their nail. It is one of the most annoying things that can happen to any girl. You spent so much time carefully growing them for weeks, so they can look long and beautiful, just so you can hit something by an accident and ruin it all.

Luckily, there is a way to fix it, and not everything is ruined, so stay tuned, because help is coming.

In this article, we’ll be showing you a trick on how to fix a broken nail of yours. This is a really old trick, and people have already talked about it before, but not everyone knows how to do this, so we are going to show you how to fix your broken nail with only using the items that you can find in your own home.

You don’t need anything like gels and stuff like that for this. This is actually available to anyone. We also want to note that no matter how broken your nail is, you can still use this method to fix it, even if it is barely attached.

There are a few methods for this procedure, but we decided that this one is the most efficient one, because it proved to be working amazingly for almost anyone that tried it, as long as they did everything right.

The items that you will need are the following:

  • nail buffer
  • superglue
  • a teabag
  • toothpick
  • scissors or nippers

You can easily find all of those items in your house. But, if you really don’t have one of them, they are really cheap, so you can just buy them quickly before you get started.

Once you are all set and ready to start fixing your broken nail, here is what to do.

Step 1

Firstly, cut a small piece of the teabag. Make sure to measure it on your nail to see if the size of the teabag fits the size of your broken nail right.

If it is too big, don’t worry, just cut it in half, or shorten it as much as you need to, so it fits the size of your broken nail.

Step 2

After that, put a little bit of glue over the broken area of the nail and then place the piece of teabag over it so that soaks the glue up. Make sure to place it over the broken part and press down, but lightly, so that it dries and stays flat.

Step 3

Now, you’re going to need some nippers to remove the rest of the teabag that’s hanging.

On top of the teabag, place a little bit more of glue and spread it all around with something like a toothpick. Try not to get any glue on your skin, but don’t worry, even if you do, you can easily take it off by taking a hot shower.

Step 4

After a few hours, when you’re sure that everything is dry, you should use the nail buffer in order to buff and smooth out the surface of your nail.

When you’re done with buffing it, the nail will be looking and feeling really smooth and evened out. The best part is that the broken part will be protected by the tea bag and glue, and you can’t see that your nail has been broken earlier at all.

Feel free to try doing a manicure just like you always do, and notice how it looks just like it does usually. This worked really well for anyone that has ever tried it. It should last you for at least two weeks, unless, of course, you do something silly like slamming your finger into a wall.
